WorldGBC announces call for exemplary case studies for new Case Study Library
Partnership announced to develop online library with DELOS and Integral Group
The World Green Building Council (WorldGBC) is creating an interactive digital map-based case study library. A joint initiative between Advancing Net Zero (ANZ) and Better Places for People (BPFP), two of WorldGBC’s global projects, the global resource will be hosted on the WorldGBC website and launched late 2019. WorldGBC is pleased to announce the case study library will be developed in partnership with Delos, Integral Group and Saint-Gobain.
As a global network committed to achieving a sustainable built environment, WorldGBC recognises the continued market demand to share case studies of buildings that excel in key areas of sustainability and the role of green building certification schemes to provide third party assurance of this level of performance.
The online case study library will be a centralised forum to showcase the ‘best in class’ buildings that demonstrate enhanced performance in relation to health benefits and net zero operational carbon, as demonstrated by established certification schemes, rating tools or other verification systems. Over time, it will develop to respond to the changing nature of sustainability and the work of our member Green Building Councils (GBCs), to become more closely linked to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
WorldGBC is delighted to open the call for case studies in July 2019. Case study submissions can be made through the interactive form here until 30 September 2019 at the close of World Green Building Week.
The case study library will be rich, dynamic resource that will be regularly updated to display the most cutting edge examples of sustainable building worldwide. Following the launch at the end of 2019, applications for further case studies will re-open.published on www.worldgbc.org
Through the case study library, WorldGBC will showcase action from across its GBC network, inviting all member GBCs to submit case studies, with additional input for those participating in WorldGBC’s global projects Advancing Net Zero and Better Places for People.
